Life looks very different after COVID-19. The pandemic has presented us with all sorts of new and unexpected challenges. The rules we thought we knew no longer apply. Fortunately, this gives us an opportunity to be creative, try new things, and reassess life. The pandemic has given us a unique opportunity to reflect.
What are your priorities? Are your relationships working for you? If you have been meaning to work on yourself and practice more self-care, then now is the perfect time. What do you want this next chapter to look like?
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (92434) specializing in sex therapy, couples therapy, and psychotherapy with adult individuals aspiring for a more fulfilling life. A lot of my work focuses on self-acceptance, improving communication skills, identifying boundaries, and increasing self-awareness. I have provided a variety of lectures on topics pertaining to sex education, healthy relationships, sex after cancer, sex and recovery, consent, BDSM, sex after 60, and more. In addition to my private practice, I also teach at a local graduate school and am a Behavioral Scientist at a local Family Medicine residency program.
I work collaboratively with my clients. I have an eclectic, non-directive style. I do not give advice, since I am not the one who has to live out the consequences. Instead, I enjoy helping people think outside the box and discover what will work for them. Together, we can help you gain autonomy, improve your communication skills, strengthen your relationships, set boundaries, learn more about your relationships, and still enjoy your sexuality during COVID-19.
Please feel free to reach out and let me know how I can help.
